When driving along and wishing to use a hand-held mobile phone, what should a driver do?

Explantion: It is an offence and very unsafe to use a hand-held mobile phone while driving a vehicle or riding a motorbike as it prevents you from concentrating fully on your driving. While using a hands-free phone kit is not illegal, in some circumstances it could be a dangerous distraction, and you could be prosecuted for dangerous driving, careless driving or driving without due care and attention. If a driver needs to make a call they should pull in and stop in a place where it is safe to do so.
